oh, ok. lock thread ya'llHe's staying with WWE!
As noted earlier, Dolph Ziggler performed standup in Boston this weekend. The Boston Herald spoke to Ziggler about the show, and asked him about why he re-signed with WWE.
"I mean, it feels like I started here, I should end my career in the WWE," he said. "I feel like they like having me around and I love working here, so it would be really hard to walk away."
Ziggler also discussed fighting nerves before the show, dating and more. You can check out the full interview by clicking here.
I'm sure it will be the opposite. Now that they have him locked up they'll just job him out.
Well, that's what they have been doing with him for a while now (granted maybe he will get a big raise and then your point stands, but if it's just the same ammount of money I'm sure nothing will change). It wouldn't seem to be a smart business move to pay a guy what I'm sure they're paying him with the intent of just jobbing him to everybody that comes along. I'm not saying that, given circumstances and time, he may not become a jobber to the stars or even an outright enhancement guy (his rep and history would suggest the former rather than the latter, but I digress), but I can't believe Vinnie and Paul would sign a guy to a probably-pretty-lucrative contract just to do nothing with him.
It just would not be a good investment of his money.

It isn't "doing nothing with him". You don't need to push DZ to make money off him, you already do. Same thing with Ryder before him. They didn't need to push Ryder, he was selling merch without screen time, it was a wet dream for Vince. DZ doesn't need to be world champ to get huge reactions. So Vince sees this and says "OK, DZ stays over without me even trying". so Vince sees that as a green light to try and use Ziggler's overness to rub off on others. It is what has always happened with DZ and it is what will most likely continue to happen with DZ. My best guess is WWE and DZ talked about a push during contract negotiations and we may even see that initially, but in the long haul it will be nothing but more of the same for Mr. Nemeth in WWEIt wouldn't seem to be a smart business move to pay a guy what I'm sure they're paying him with the intent of just jobbing him to everybody that comes along. Vince has a history of wanting to make his own stars. It's pretty ridiculous that he doesn't seem consider ziggler one of "his creations" even though he was always a wwe guy.It isn't "doing nothing with him". Instead of logically pushing the popular guy, Vince would rather use the popular guy to try and get someone over that isn't popular. Obviously that type of rub isn't unheard of, but it is literally the story of Ziggler's career. I could point to 100 instances of a guy getting a push and going over Ziggler early in to establish that. It won't change because they locked him up, it will only happen more.
