So we need to reassess the rules and we will shortly but for now we'll just make sure that these two major ones are in place.

I went to my first hockey game, the local Stockton, CA team that plays in the ECHL, and I just want to know if it is common practice for the home team crowd to chastise an away player when he returns from the penalty box with a chant of "AND YOU STILL SUCK!" I'm just wondering if it's the nature of the game or if the "most depressing place to live in the US" is compose of more California trash than the average California town. I'd imagine a simple booing would suffice.

Oh absolutely. Hockey fans can be vicious. If you ever watch an Ottawa Senators game and they're playing Boston, Zdeno Chara gets massive heat solely for the fact that he left Ottawa. Guy can't even touch the puck without being booed out of the building. Same goes for Dany Heatley and whatever team he's playing for now.
