Got zero desire right now for that match, maybe they can get me into it again if it happens but they had the opportunity before and blew it.
Hopefully Asuka is rumored to make her return at the WWE Royal Rumble on Saturday.
Several WWE talents are said to be under the impression that Asuka will be making her ring return during Saturday’s 30-Woman Royal Rumble Match, according to Fightful Select. There’s no confirmation that Asuka is booked to return at the big event, but that is the rumor going around WWE.
Asuka’s name was at least discussed internally as a potential Women’s Rumble entrant.
Asuka has not appeared on WWE TV since Money In the Bank 2021 back in July. She’s dealt with an injury since then, and there hasn’t been much said about her status or return, despite numerous inquiries. There’s no word on if Asuka is medically cleared to compete, but she has been discussed for an upcoming return.
smh. They'll regret it when #30 comes out and they start booing and chanting 'We Want Veer'There are reportedly no plans for Veer to appear at the WWE Royal Rumble on Saturday.
While Veer has worked several WWE Main Event matches, WWE has been teasing his official RAW re-debut for a few months now. There has been some speculation on a possible appearance at The Rumble on Saturday, but PWInsider reports that he is not currently scheduled for the show.
There could always be a late change, but as of today Veer is not scheduled for the Royal Rumble.
Kairi Sane is another name that was reportedly discussed as a possible WWE Royal Rumble entrant.
There’s no word on if WWE brought Sane back to the United States for Saturday’s big event, but Fightful Select reports that she has been discussed quite a bit as of late.
It was reported earlier this month that Sane’s WWE contract is set to expire in February some time.
WWE reportedly wanted to renew Sane’s contract and have her return to wrestle, but she did not want to live in the United States. It was also noted that due to COVID-19, an arrangement where she travels back & forth was not possible. There have been rumors on Sane possibly wrestling for Stardom in Japan now that she’s officially finishing up with WWE. Stardom reportedly wanted Sane to work a special attraction bout in 2021, but WWE would not grant the permission.
For what it’s worth, Sane’s social media activity indicates that she is still in Japan this week. While it looks like he will not be appearing in The Rumble this weekend, it’s interesting to note that WWE wanted her to return at one point.
Sane, who teased a possible ring return on Twitter back in December, returned to Japan in 2020 to be with her new husband, but continued working for WWE as an Ambassador in the country. She also did some Japanese commentary on WWE pay-per-view events. She originally signed a three-year deal with WWE in March 2017, and won the 2017 Mae Young Classic. She last wrestled for WWE in July 2020, and shortly after that announced her return to Japan. Sane left in-ring competition as a one-time WWE NXT Women’s Champion and a one-time WWE Women’s Tag Team Champion.

Rapper Bad Bunny is currently scheduled to be in the Royal Rumble Match on Saturday, according to Ringside News.
It’s likely that Bad Bunny will not be at WrestleMania 38 this year, but anything is possible. He’s currently scheduled for a three-night tour-wrapping concert in Miami on April 1, April 2 and April 3, which is WrestleMania Weekend.
It’s likely that this is just a one-off appearance as the rapper is scheduled to begin his 35-stop arena tour on February 9 in Denver. The tour quickly sold out last April, due to a push from his WWE run, and broke Ticketmaster’s record for most tickets sold on its first day of sales, and also crashed their system. WWE promoted the tour on this week’s RAW episode. Due to the quick sellout of the tour beginning in February, Bunny just announced a 29-stop stadium tour that will begin on August 5 in Orlando, and wrap in December with stops in Latin America.
After performing at the WWE Royal Rumble in 2021, Bunny began a program that led to he and current WWE United States Champion Damian Priest defeating John Morrison and The Miz at WrestleMania 37. Bunny also became a one-time WWE 24/7 Champion in February, capturing the title from R-Truth, but then relinquishing it back to him later on.
Shane McMahon is reportedly returning to WWE at the Royal Rumble.
McMahon has been away from WWE for almost one year now, but Ringside News reports that he is scheduled for Saturday’s 30-Man Royal Rumble Match.
There is no word on if McMahon is back for WrestleMania 38 Season, but we will keep you updated.
McMahon has not wrestled since losing the Steel Cage Match to Braun Strowman at WrestleMania 37. Before that, he had been away since losing the Career vs. Career Ladder Match to Kevin Owens on the October 4 SmackDown episode, which was the FOX premiere.
