It was Vince's point on the conference call too. They got all those new guys a shot on mania over established midcarders because they knew the top three would draw.
Think about who all missed the actual ppv broadcast of Mania ... Rey, Christian, Kofi, Cody, Sin Cara, Truth, Miz,. That's unheard of in years past as they usually always got the established midcarder a on the card because the ppv as a whole had to sell which is why Carlito, Benjamin, Morrison, Masters, MVP, Matt Hardy etc could do nothing for a year and still get the pay day and time off being established and having a fan base.
