I honestly don’t think this is necessary at all. For a couple of reasons. Unless they plan to eliminate gendered divisions, you need a way to classify them. I was actually dead set against them removing Divas because I liked the women having their special branding. I appreciate Impact still having theirs called Knockouts when I’m sure there was pressure to drop theirs as well. At the end though you need to at least call it a woman’s division.

If we need to we can have another conversation to specifically label the men’s division that and call theirs the men’s champions like other legit sports.

I don’t personally think that’s necessary either, but between removing women’s and adding men’s, add men’s.

Yeah I agree you don't remove the women's term, you just add men's if you want it to be seen as more equal lol the divisions are separated so terms are kinda necessary, the men's have just never seen the need to have one which is the issue here, I just don't think people think about it much when bringing it up

Even UFC refers to their divisions with both genders as men's bantamweight and flyweight on commentary a lot though officially men's isn't included on anything while women's is. I could easily get used to the tag titles referred to as the men's and women's tag titles separately, WWE and Universal are a tad different but I think i could get used to WWE mens/women's champion and WWE Universal Mens/Women's Champion eventually
