Dude, wrestling has had pearl harbours for decades. Why have you specifically pointed out this fued? Heels are supposed to be dicks. Them doing dickish things.

They shouldn't have guns in movies because its too dangerous

I'm highlighting this feud in particular because for a time, WWE stopped making people attack others from behind, from 1997 onwards. I can offer some examples...

When Paige turned against Charlotte Flair. Okay, Paige played a double faced character, but at least she turned against Charlotte in plain view of everybody.

When Kevin Nash as Diesel turned heel, he let everyone know it was going to happen by dropping subtle hints before his match with Bret at Survivor Series 1995 and then confirming it by using heel tactics.

When Sid turned heel the following year by hitting José Lethario with the camera. He did it up front.

When Kane turned heel he seized Jim Ross, who was fully aware of what was happening and set him on fire.

I could pick other times when heel turns were too cerebral, but I chose the Bellas and Rousey because of how depraved it was. Two women semingly on friendly terms with someone and then attack ing her when her guard was down reeks of malice and upon further reflection, cowardice, all drawn in cold blood, in an erax when we are supposed to be putting a stop to premeditated stuff, not glorifying it.

I don't know if WWE has done shit like this since, but I do know it abstained for a time.

Elias has attacked people from behind all the time in the past 3 years. Happens all the time. It is the norm.
