If the injury reports are legit and not a work,it will be very bad for Rollins not only for now but also his future career.
In 2015 he held the WWE Title for 8 months after which he was supposed to be in a storyline feud with HHH.That didn't happen due to knee injury.Instead HHH faced Reigns at WM32.
Now they rebuild the feud with HHH again, but he got injured.Which will mostly likely lead to change in Wrestlemania plans.
Of all things,I think Vince hates to change his decision and do what he thinks right. But in this case,he has to change his plans not once but twice.Add to it Rollins blamed for injuries to Sting and Balor, this only gets worse.
I think Rollins career as a company top guy is done.He might get the Barrett,Wyatt,Dolph treatmen. They may not keep faith in him to hold the World title again.
So is Rollins career set for a huge pushback?

PS:Dont spam the thread by saying Roman should've been injured,Rollins facing Karma etc.

i respectfully disagree, I think for 1: its a work, he's probably not injured and 2: both of those wrestlers agreed to those highly dangerous spots.

I regardfully disagree; Rollins is still money at the end of the day. Yeah, these setbacks suck but they can really make for great story-lines. Imagine Rollins coming back to cost Samoa Joe a title match to an insane pop, attacking him similarly that Joe did to him. That'd be fucking epic. I know WWE still has faith in this guy, as injuries are a common thing. Look at Triple H, John Cena, Randy Orton, etc. They've all gotten injured plenty of times and have come back stronger.

What I'm trying to say is, Rollins is still a part of the future. Will always be in my eyes.

No one blamed Rollins. All wrestlers know they face a risk when they enter the ring. Seth isn't done yet and for all we know, this is a work. I mean at this point, why not do something like this to add more heat to Joe and the HHH vs Seth match. Even if it isn't a work, he isn't done for. He is the best of the Shield and to me, still has the most potential (heck he has proven that!).

Not to mention Randy was out 3 months for slipping on ice while taking out his trash... That dude had plenty of injuries and he is main-eventing Wrestlemania this year.

At least when Rollins returns he can get his feud with HHH started right away. But they will also put him in a feud with Joe as well, but who knows which will happen first.

But I think Rollins time is limited if he doesn't change up his style to a more slower ground technique. He does a lot of jumping in the air and landing on his feet and I don't think that bum leg is gonna be able to handle it anymore (even tho his injury was because of Samoa Joes fatass :D)

Rollins was never going to be 'The Future' as much as we want him to be, unfortunately. At least not in the form of the absolute top guy in the company.

Vince's vision of THE future and THE guy is still in Roman Reigns.

He hasn't changed his mind yet and he likely won't, despite all the boos and hostility towards the guy.

Still, that doesn't mean Rollins won't be one of the top guys in the company. He'll be #2 or #3, but Roman's spot as the #1 guy still remains.

Also, Rollins' injury couldn't have come at a worse time. It would really suck if he had to miss two WMs in a row due to injury.

But, here's to hoping he only misses Fastlane and somehow manages to mircalously heal in time to work WM.

I don't think Rollins being injured will change Vince`s plans for him. They're just going to be delayed a little. Thats all. Once he comes back, all will be good again.

First off, it's not a work. Rollins is legit injured. The extent is unknown. Hopefully it's very minor and he's good to go.

Rollins won't be the top guy unless Vince decided to pass the torch to triple h and Steph letting them have control of WWE. Also, triple h will still push Rollins regardless of this. Sure it sucks. But triple h has completely torn his quads 2 times in his career and was still always a top dog. Rollins will be just fine.

He will be the new Kane. Around in the title pictures but used as a transitional champ with short reigns.

Even Austin got bumped down the card after his neck surgery. Rollins will be around but the focus will shift to Braun/Reigns/Balor or whoever.
