Survival Of The Fittest 2011 Details

ROH officials have finalized many details about this year's Survival of the Fittest tournament which goes down in Dayton, OH on November 18th at the Montgomery County Fairgrounds. The tournament has always been about members of the ROH roster competing over 6 spots in the finals, and battling it out to earn a future ROH World Title opportunity, and that's not about to change this year. But things will breakdown a bit differently in the qualifying matches. This year 14 men will fight it out in 5 different matches with 6 of athletes surviving to the finals. Here's a look at how this year's SOTF will be contested:

3 Singles Matches

1 Tag Team Match (Both members of the winning team will advance)

1 Four Corner Survival

The 6 winners will all advance to the elimination final to see who will earn a future shot at the ROH World Title!

I like the concept this year where there are three different match types and five different matches to determine the six qualifiers. Unique concept and I really like the sound of it.

The Champions Challenge tag team match will be off the charts incredible.

I am hoping that the announce the match-ups before the show. Interested in how they pair everyone up.

The match-ups have been announced for the qualifying matches and I have added them to the first post in the thread.

Some good pairings there and I am most looking forward to how Edwards and Bennett work with each other. Not sure who will be the winner here, maybe an Edwards or Strong.

I think we're definitely seeing Edwards, Strong and The Briscoes in the finals..and I'll guess King and O'Rielly with either King or Edwards picking up the win. I don't think there's that much mystery here but the show, especially the main event, looks like it can be very strong.

I think this SOTF looks weak on paper. I wouldn't be at all surprised if Mike Bennett or Michael Elgin ends up winning the tournament.

I think that Eddie is going to win this thing. Or Roderick.
