Correct me if I’m wrong but wasn’t one of the details of ROH’s “hiatus” that all contracted talent was essentially a free agent by the end of January?

So are they just under the assumption that everyone is just going to resign? Who’s to say they’ll have the talent for this “super show”?

If I’m wrong, please enlighten me.

They aren't re-signing anyone. No contracts is the thing it seems so it'll be a pure indy operation like in the past and how like GCW and other actual indies (not MLW, NWA, Impact) runs nowadays. They'll still have a semi-consistent roster but no one is getting guaranteed money, should theoretically open them up to partnerships and possibly using Impact and aew talent much more easily tho but that's dependent on those companies of course

And I wouldn't say this is really a supershow, it's just their usual April PPV card (granted it's one of their biggest) and it was always the plan to return with this show, they'll try and make it big you'd hope tho with everything that's happened. Also like every wrestler in the world will be in Dallas that weekend so maybe some cameos:lol

Ok interesting. Harpening back to the territory days. I could see impact jumping on this. And I wouldn’t be surprised if we get a Briscoes/FTR match under the circumstances

I am so glad you didn't call MLW, NWA, and IMPACT Indie wrestling promotions.

If they sign people to exclusive (or mostly exclusive nowadays) contracts, I don't really count them as indie. MLW, NWA, Impact, and NJPW of America are in their own tier for me above indies but below WWE/AEW. ROH was included too until the shutdown

I understand, but I have seen people include those promotions as being Indie and it always bug me because they aren't. That is why I gave props.

I would almost bet GCW will have Bloodsport on the same day

Well then they lose my money, should go up against Mania N1 instead and I'd be there
