Are you a musician? Have any interest in National exposure? If so, we can help each other! ROH is in need of original music for the upcoming HDNet television program, and if you’ve got original music that you think would fit ROH or one of its stars, we want to talk to you! We’d love nothing more than to be able to give National exposure to up-and-coming musicians in exchange for your talents! If interested, please email rohhelp@aol.com and let us know where we can hear you do your thing!

Don't think i like this, but it's a interesting concept. I would make it more like a "contest" but to me this sounds desperate.

Could work out ok for them, assuming they haven't got a mega-budget to work with, getting X-amount of their music for free (in exchange for exposure) I should imagine would be rather helpful to them. Plus, if this results in them ending up working long-term with a couple or producers/bands (a bit like WWE did with the Jim guy that composed most of the themes at one point) then it could benefit them having a sense of coherency in 'sound' across their shows.

Also, ya gotta figure finding & licensing with a decent feel for the product may not be that easy... You'd assume that most people that would respond to that add would be likley to be switched on to ROH already.

I guess the main concern here is will they uncover some good stuff in line with the time-frame they have for submitting the show for broadcast.

This is a little desperate but not a horrible idea. It depends on what exactly they're expecting, I don't know if they would be able to get a song for every wrestler but a theme song for the show could work, like what TNA did with their theme with the unknown band. I'm still wondering if HDnet isn't big enough where they can get away with using licensed musician songs...

And if all else fails, Jimmy Jacobs could write a few songs for everybody. :shifty:
