Possible, I think Kyle and Ishii would have to be short term champions too depending on when Ishii goes back to Japan and I'm not sold the tapings themselves will have any change so I wouldn't bet on that tho

I’m looking over this card and for something that Tony had to put together pretty last-minute/chose to put together last minute for some of it. This is a pretty banging card that I’m really looking forward to tomorrow.

Show should deliver, I'm more annoyed than usual the disconnect from the ROH TV and the PPVs, especially mens title matches tho. The past 4 months it looked like The Infantry were going to challenge for the titles, an actual ROH team that wrestles on ROH weekly but instead it's two guys feuding with the Kingdom on AEW TV.

Thank God for the women's feuds, I just wish the men's titles would go to people that actually appear on ROH TV

I was even thinking a multi team match as a way for the Infantry to win without the AEW tag team taking a loss if that matters but they did that match without the champions instead with the same teams I was expecting a few weeks ago and the Infantry won what I thought would end up being what got them the solo title shot

And instead Paul Wight shows up last night, says he's the new authority figure and books Kyle and Big Tom

The logic is this is a better match on paper and I don't even disagree. It doesn't even lack build, the build was just on AEW...this would make more sense on Collision tomorrow

Without even watching ROH TV and having seen every ROH pay-per-view, I really don’t feel like I miss much and that’s been my biggest complaint since day one is that the TV show feels more like AEW dark then it does an actual canonized primary television show that moves the stories forward. I’m hoping that changes with the next tapings.

If I’m being honest, I think the logic is mostly that Tony waited until July to start thinking about this pay-per-view, and it was easier for him to build story lines on AEW television than it was for him to try to squeeze it into the Ring of Honor tapings.

That being said, I don’t think they did too bad your job building up ROH stories through the AEW television shows because I’m actually decently excited for the show tonight.
