- TNA put the recent Tara vs. Mickie James cage match in the iMPACT main event spot because they felt it would keep the audience watching the show until it ended. Instead, more viewers tuned out than during almost any other iMPACT main event in recent months.

There was a time when the women were one of the highest rating getters in TNA. Can't blame them for actually trying something to spark interest. Can blame them for being about a year late on picking up on the trend. This is easily the least of their problems, letting Meth Hardy wrestle intoxicated is a more telling problem with how poorly managed this company is.

^ I didnt see anything from the above posts saying they hated womens wrestling or saying that it was a bad segment, they just said how TNA failed because the viewers tuned out, they obviously didnt give a fuck about the knockouts like they used to.

As Enzo said if they had that as the Main Event a year or so back it would have been crazy because Impacts highest rating would usually be during the knockouts segment. Just shows how stupid they are for not doing something like that earlier when it could have turned out well.

The match itself was pretty sloppy. But yeah, putting a main event match in the main event is the right thing to do a lot of the time. (+ Maybe if they hyped the match for more than two hours...) If they started doing the right things like they've been the last two weeks, the ratings will take a step or two back because of how they've conditioned their current idiot fans. But in a year a 4 or 5 step increase would be the result. That won't happen as long as the stupidest front offices i've ever seen is still in power though.

People could tune out and tune back in for the last segment though, knowing that the knockouts were going on last and hyped as the main event. There's no way around it - TNA have fucked up one of the biggest draws they had in the knockouts division.

This, by DEFINITION, means it was bad. If nobody wanted to watch it, it was obviously uninteresting. If you can find an excuse as to why taking a crap for the last ten minutes of a show is a better use of your time than to watch a steel cage match with two hot vixens rolling around in the ring, then your booking is bad, your match is bad, and you should feel bad.


Now, take away the part of your post that was typed in all caps and which made you look like a fool, then the latter half of your post was at least decently constructed. Keep up THAT kind of posting. That way, even if we disagree on something as trivial as this, you can keep your posts meaningful and back up your own arguments. Otherwise, you discredit yourself before you even step into the thread.
