Rockstar has told fans there could be another entry in the L.A. Noire franchise in the future. The developer and publisher was asked about the future of the IP in an open Asked and Answered feature on its official website. It responded by first confirming it would no longer support the original but said there could be a sequel is a possibility. "While there won't be any more DLC or additional content for the current release of L.A. Noire (we're all too busy working on Max Payne 3, GTAV and other games to come), don't count out the possibility of a new game in the L.A. Noire franchise in the future. We simply have not decided anything," it said. "We don't always rush to make sequels, but that does not mean we won't get to them eventually - see Max and Red Dead for evidence of that - we have so many games we want to make and the issue is always one of bandwidth and timing." Brendan McNamara, writer and director of LA Noire has revealed his next game is called 'Whore of the Orient'
Rockstar seem like a very busy company and sequels would be pretty hard and time consuming with their quality of games, I'd love to see a Red Dead Redemption sequel instead of LA Noire 2 tbh as I loved RDR.
I liked LA Noire and the quality of the game was superb especially the visuals. I hope LA Noire 2 doesn't get repetitive though like the first one and doesn't feel like a routine to find clues and do cases and it should have much more to do involving free roam especially when you finish the game, that was one of the problems I found with it as alongside that it started to get boring but I wanted to finish it and ended up being disappointed with the ending - It was crap for how time consuming the game was because it provided no result. Props to Rockstar though because this game was a innovative and highly creative idea and was still enjoyable, I'd definitely buy another despite my tiny rant.
