FWA Management were stunned this week when BBC Radio WM breakfast show requested a live interview on Saturday morning show at 8am with the self proclaimed "Baby Jesus of British Wrestling", The Rockstar Spud.
In an effort to protect the relationship between the FWA & the BBC and stop another Jonathan Ross-Russell Brand type of incident, the management team have been putting forward a host of other names from the FWA roster to avoid a disaster that could be the downfall of the entire corporation, but the BBC has declined all other suggestions.
The Flyweight Number One Contender has promised not to drink during the very pre-watershed radio interview ahead of his match this Sunday 21st March at the Wolverhampton Civic Hall, where he teams up with the “Bollywood Dream†R.J Singh to take on Derice Coffie and “The Wonderkid†Jonny Storm.
Let's hope Ofcom are not tuned into 95.6 FM or listening online when the Rockstar fills (and thrills) the airwaves of the Midlands. Everyone at FWA HQ will be tuned in with their fingers tightly crossed...
