Rematch clauses are the damn devil. It really muddies up a lot of storylines and makes you add a closing chapter after the book should have been finished already to toooooo many feuds.

Damn right. Always hate it. Especially with the mid-card belts, when someone loses the belt they have to job AGAIN then try to move up the card.

Just bringing it up for consistency and for the Rock marks who hope he shows up at ER, and to avoid a "You know what, you beat me fair and square, enjoy the belt Cena" bullshit moment.

Kinda agree on that.
CM Punk had to lose to Rock again at EC because of the stupid rematch clause, they could have just let it go.
