He's an actor, idiots. That's the kind of things actors have to do, it doesn't make Dwayne gay.

It's comedy for one, and even if it wasn't.. who cares, it's a film you're playing a role!
This just shows how badly educated and narrow minded a lot of you are if you can't see past a role in a film.

doing a gay role and kissing men isnt really the way you want to go in hollywood.

Didn't do Heath Ledger any harm.... I think they call it acting (in most caes anyway)!

This is one of those complicated 'outwardly homophic, yet i'm a closet homosexual' things isn't it.... Are you just pissed cos YOU wanna be the one puckered up on 'The Great One'?

Regardless his films are shit and he's a shit actor. PERIOD.

Quoted cos it needed emphasising to all the thinly veiled homophobics of IWF.

I love how people are hating on the Rock for this, but neglect to mention one important fact... Dwayne is making himself a SHITLOAD of money for scenes like that.

Also, what Rell said.

The rock is becomeing gayer and gayer since leaveing wwe.

I'd suggest using suitable words in an suitable order which actually conveys what you mean then.

...Btw, for the record, my mention of homophobia is based on certain members (yup, including YOU!) reaction to homosexual imagery. Whether you belive Rock to be gay has nothing to do with it.

Former WWF champion Dwayne Johnson is featured on the cover and listed at the top of Hollywood's "Next A-List" of stars taking the entertainment "industry by storm" in the new issue of Entertainment Weekly.

The issue features a long article on Johnson's evolution as an actor from action-star with his start as The Scorpion King into an actor that stars in family films, such as The Game Plan. Johnson noted that he's quietly dropped The Rock nickname and has also dropped a lot of muscle mass to move from a one-dimensional action star to a legitimate actor.

The article praised Johnson's willingness to promote and help market films he is involved in, something that really carried him into Disney's good graces after "The Game Plan." The article also noted that Johnson took a pay cut and a smaller role in Get Smart, which is slated to be released later this month, just to take the chance to be part of the ensemble comedy's cast.

Johnson is currently finishing up the Disney film "Return to Witch Mountain" and will go right into a children's comedy where he plays the title character, "The Tooth Fairy."

The article also reviews all of Johnson's starring feature film roles.

Score another one for The Dwayne

It also "sealed the deal" for him to be taken more seriously in hollywood, much like using the name "the Rock" in the wwe helped "seal the deal" for him to become a star there.

Also, the homophobia on these boards teeters on the edge of hilarious to pathetic. Most of the time I don't know whether to laugh at the idiocy of it or to be ashamed that as a wrestling fan I get lumped in with this kind of stuff. It's not just on this site, wrestling in general seems to attract this kind of crap.

The rock is becomeing gayer and gayer since leaveing wwe. First his character in be cool now he kissess a dude.

Rell said:
I guess leaving WWE caused him to become homosexual huh? Instead of rolling around with half naked, sweaty, oiled up men, he'll be kissing a guy in an upcoming movie in which he was probably paid more money than we've had our entire lives, to do so. What a fag
Once again, one of our age-old IWF habits of members reading a post and jumping the gun instead of thinking thing through has struck yet again. I would expect someone like King Of Kings to do something like this (no offense KOK), but Rell?! What is the world coming to?

Remeber he's AN ACTOR, right? ONE WHO ACTS! As in, he PLAYS A CHARACTER WHO'S KISSING ANOTHER CHARACTER! Just because Dwayne plays a character who kisses another man that makes him gay? How the hell is that supposed to make sense. You know I can't help that fact that you two are bashing Dwayne simply because he left the WWE. That's just sad.

Not really Interesting to see Dwayne play a gay character in the upcoming movie? Or is that it's just a short comic scene? Whatever it is, pretty much Blue.

Nonetheless, he should be featured in a homosexual sex scene some time soon to cover this up... :disgust1:
