I honestly couldn't go to sleep after hearing the talk of his passing whether it was true or not but my fear came to past as he has indeed passed away. What Hana Kimura, Eddie Guerrero, Owen Hart meant to me on the Wrestling side of things, Jason David Frank meant as much to me. I was a young kid who already been a TMNT fan, and a young Martial Arts fan through both of my Parents when he came along. Tommy Oliver comes along with Power Rangers and it opens up the World I thought was already cool and it blew it out of the Window. Jason David Frank had people wanting to take up Karate like myself, while bringing all these fans through his work and the work on Power Rangers. I remember my Parents having a Airbrush Shirt made when I was a kid and it was me with the Green Ranger.

Some people wanted to be Batman, Superman, or Wonder Woman, but I wanted to be a Power Ranger and that Mighty Morphin Crew especially Tommy is main reason for that. If I didn't watch Power Rangers I don't know I ever get interested in Super Sentai, Kamen Rider or Tokusatu in general. It's been ingrained in my life for that long now being 34 heading to 35 and the loss of Jason David Frank is huge for me today. Even sadder that now just passed away but under Suicide and that hurts even more. He had dealing with alot lately and you would think a guy who seemed to be the life of the party couldn't of talked to someone in that dark moment. I've been there wanting to take your life and it took a Discussion with my Mother to stop me and keep me from doing it and keeping those thoughts out of my mind. You gotta talk to someone when you're feeling that way keeping it in it eats away at you. RIP JDF we are all playing together your Dragon Flute see you on the other side.

I truly don’t understand this world sometimes. As a kid Power Rangers was probably my biggest obsession and I continued to watch it well into High School. Which wasn’t always popular at the time. The green and pink rangers were always the characters I gravitated most to and especially their relationship on the show so seeing Amy’s post here especially breaks my heart. This truly sucks.

The world lost a special soul today. Rest In Peace, friend.

Just now saw the news of JDF. Really crushing. Obviously he was part of my childhood also as one of the most popular Power Rangers ever (maybe THE most popular) but I also admired him for how much he went back to be on the Power Rangers show again or made himself available in public to talk about his time there. He clearly had a positive vibe to him. Rest in peace, Jason David Frank.

Suicide really sucks. We have lost some great people because of it. It's like sometimes I think about Robin Williams and how we could use his sense of humor in todays super serious world.

I mean Tommy/JDF had a Song made for him that is how over he was as a Green Ranger and White Ranger. The 30th Anniversary for Power Rangers is coming up and now when I see Zack and Billy on Screen, with Trini's Daughter I'm going to thinking in the back of my mind about JDF so hard.

Law enforcement sources tell TMZ Jason and his wife, Tammie, checked into a Texas hotel Friday. We're told the two -- who are in the middle of a divorce -- got separate rooms, but at some point the estranged couple got into an argument in Tammie's room. We're told staffers were called to calm things down, and peace was restored.

Our law enforcement sources say at some point either late Friday night or early Saturday morning, the two got into another argument and Jason locked Tammie out of his room.

Our sources say Tammie was apparently concerned for his safety and called the cops around 5 AM Saturday morning. When officers couldn't make contact with Jason, we're told hotel management let them in and they discovered the actor hanged himself in the bathroom.[/quote]

Hearing this doesn't help my sadness on his death but I can totally see him thinking his life is over because he doesn't have his Wife in his life anymore.

My Mother is broken to pieces hearing the news when I told her. She did a dance number in High School to Fame with that very Song and killed it from what I heard from my Uncles and Aunt in the past. RIP Queen.
