Really fucking liked this episode First two matches were great, especially the tag match. Main event was kinda weird, action was good while it lasted but it was short and the post-match is what got all the shine anyway. I guess we're getting a RIghteous vs Foundation or possibly just Lethal feud? Hard to tell from that since they just came out and acted all weird and Lethal looked confused lol Also some cracks in the Foundation (lol) with Rhett being mad after this match but I don't rate those until there's at least a couple instances in wrestling lol

ROH TV Preview: Special Halloween Episode Features ROH World Six-Man Tag Title Match And Other Treats

Here’s a preview of the special Halloween episode of “Ring of Honor Wrestling:”

NOTE: This episode will be shown exclusively on ROH’s YouTube channel on Sunday, Oct. 31 at 7 p.m. Eastern Time. This week’s TV episode will be an encore presentation spotlighting “The Franchise of ROH” Jay Lethal.

ROH World Six-Man Tag Team Title Match: Champions Shane Taylor Promotions (Shane Taylor & Soldiers of Savagery’s Moses and Kaun) vs. Danhausen, PCO & Sledge
Not only have Taylor, Moses and Kaun been dominant champions since winning the title from MexiSquad in February, but they’re also undefeated in all six-man tag matches since joining forces a year ago.

They’ll be facing a trio that’s odd but formidable. PCO is a former ROH World Champion, World Tag Team Champion and World Six-Man Tag Team Champion; Sledge is a powerhouse and a rising star hungry for gold; and Danhausen is … very nice and very evil!

There’s no doubt that STP are the favorites in this match because of their proven track record, but strange things happen at Halloween time, and who’s stranger than the team of Danhausen, “The French-Canadian Frankenstein” PCO and “The Metalhead Maniac” Sledge?

ROH Women’s World Champion Rok-C and Quinn McKay vs. Miranda Alize & Max The Impaler
McKay came to Rok-C’s aid after Alize attacked the champion from behind. Amy Rose, who represents Max The Impaler, subsequently approached Alize with a business proposition, which was for Max The Impaler to join forces with Alize against Rok-C and McKay.

Alize and Max are a dangerous duo because Alize will do whatever it takes to win and Max is a merciless monster. Add the cunning Rose to the mix and there’s do doubt Rok-C and McKay will have their work cut out for them.
However, Rok-C and McKay are used to being underdogs and overcoming the odds.

Four tag teams determined by names drawn out of a jack-o'-lantern will square off in what is bound to be an unpredictable, entertaining contest. We could very well see foes as partners and friends as opponents.

WON - When New Japan and ROH booked MSG for their show in 2019, WWE tried to get MSG to cancel the booking plus notes on ROH in general. Sinclair has also agreed to broadcast Women of Wrestling next year.

MSG actually did try to do so until Sinclair's lawyers threatened to sue them. That ended up being the largest non-WWE live gate in U.S. pro wrestling history of $1.1 million.

It was essentially the success of All In which Cody and the Bucks put up their own money for - the Bucks and Cody came to ROH because they were going to let them promote a super show - that convinced Kevin Reilly at TNT that there was a viable market for non-WWE wrestling. It also prompted Showtime to make a bid for hosting Dynamite.

Per WON, the direction change for NXT to feature indie talent came about as WWE saw how hot ROH were getting a few years ago and sought to stop their growth by hiring their workers, paying them more and using production values which ROH could not match. They also started using the same arenas which ROH used.

AEW took the buzz away from ROH as the WWE alternative promotion with the great in-ring matches fand the company went back to struggling to draw even before the pandemic. When they started back up with a few shows post-pandemic, they didn’t draw either. After the last set of shows at the 2300 Arena in Philadelphia didn’t draw, down just under 400 paid for the last show, they decided against doing any shows except the empty building tapings until Final Battle on 12/4 in Baltimore.

Sinclair will continue to broadcast the shows weekly. After Final Battle, the television show will be filled with archival footage. However, Sinclair has also reached a deal with the new Women of Wrestling group with Tessa Blanchard as top star to have weekend programming for its stations starting in the fall of 2022.
