Honestly, who in the world would pay more than like $5 for that?

Former ROH World Champ Xavier died at just 43 years old.

Here's a match with Trent Acid (Who died at 29 years old from a drug overdose.

I do remember Xavier in the early days of ROH and him being a heck of a talent to watch. Sad to hear his passing.

The ROH Pure Title tournament has officially kicked off with two first round matches going down last night. Those being Jay Lethal vs. Dalton Castle and Jon Gresham vs. Wheeler YUTA. We got two pretty interesting and very different matches out of those guys. ROH made an interesting call to put this episode up for free on their website so if y'all wanna check it out, you can do so here: https://www.rohwrestling.com/current-tv-episode

The wrestling is honestly top notch, I'd def recommend it to anyone with a spare 45 minutes or so.

The Matches itself for this Week were great, but I like to talk more about the Packages with each competitor in the Pure Tourney. A nice touch to give respect to each guy and tell new fans where they come from, and what they bring to the table for the Tournament. Gresham vs Lethal I'm really for, but whoever wins is going to truly deserve it.

I've never heard of him any Matches I should check out before his Match with King?
Never even heard of him? That's a little surprising HoHo. He was in NXT for a spell, came to ROH, won the Top Prospect Tourney or whatever that thing is called now, and currently is teaming with Silas Young. However, I don't know that I have any specific match recs. I don't think I consider a top flight wrestler or anything but he does have an MMA influenced style, plus he's young and marketable looking, so I think he's a guy ROH could get behind if they're looking to establish a future star and avoid the predictable Finals of Lethal vs. Gresham. (not that I would have any problem with that match)

Yeah it's rare for me not to know a guy with all the Wrestling I watch, but I can be honest in saying this a return for me watching ROH in Years. I was a huge fan of the Company for years and I fell outta touch. Not a bad Episode this Week, but a step down for me with the Matches. Rocky Romero really dominated Finlay in their Match, then of all of sudden Finlay shows his new Submission aka the Indian Death Lock and Rocky starts to act like he's dead to rights. The Match was flat to me even the finish. Delirious vs Sydal was a way better Match, but it wasn't like that Match blew me away as well. I did love that spot with Delirious bending back his legs and then taking a dive move from Sydal. Both guys opened each others third eye and I kinda wanted to see more.

This week was another great show with great action. Two unique matchups, once again. Fred Yehi vs. Silas Young was a great technical battle, going hold for hold and counter for counter. Yehi picking up the win is huge and thankfully, it probably means he's here to stay. Woods vs. King was a little more traditional, as it's two guys who aren't necessarily classed as pure wrestlers but it was a more than solid match nonetheless. Once it got later in the match, with how close it was, I kinda figured it was gonna go to the judges. I like Kenny King's use of a closed fist being the difference maker, swaying the judges in Josh's favor.

If you check out this episode, let me know what you think @HoHo Kimura

First of all damn Silas is still calling himself the last real Man in Wrestling?! It feels like he's been there for Years, and now he was the stepping Stone for Yehi in their Match together. First time seeing Yehi and I can see why he loved Danielson and Low Ki he fits their ideology in the Ring. Silas tried his best to keep up with the Man because if his experience, but Yehi showed why he has huge respect coming from the Wrestling Community with all that talent. Pretty cool they did the Judges Ruling with King and Woods. King made the mistake and it cost him, but that doesn't mean he won't get another shot down the road. Woods just needs time to fully show his potential and be another guy to be a Duck to the Water if that make sense for a MMA based talent to go into the Pros. Good win for him in his young Career. Next week Justin Gab...PJ BLACK!

Truthfully with this Pure Title Tourney I'm really wanting to rewatch ROH from the Beginning. I had thoughts to start watching Evolve and I did watch the first Show, but then I had no Internet at this Motel for like three Weeks so that was stopped. It still feels like I'm getting caught up on everything and it's getting hard for me to schedule at this watching of Wrestling.
