Ricochet's WWE contract is set to expire this summer

I think he'll stay with WWE but would be lying if I said I didn't wanna see what he could do mixin it up with AEW with his style.

To me, it just comes down to if they're holding out for more money or if they want better booking. If it's more money, they'll hear AEWs offer and will then pick between the two. No one else will come close and they could still obviously make the final decision based on schedule and perks too.

If it's booking, they're probably already decided they're leaving and it'll be TNA or NJPW for less pay. Maybe AEW if they just have friends but I think it's money more than booking if that's the choice

Both wild takes to me tbh regardless. I feel they both have a lot of fun n are engaged with the product which is infectious. Ig it's hard for me t understand exactly what ppl would dislike about either of them as I'd expect majority of folks to.range from liking them to indifferent. Simply find it fascinating that it's a take at all

WWE sources told Fightful Select that contract negotiations between the company and Ricochet are planned for the future.

WWE signed many talents to five-year deals in 2019, and three-year extensions in 2021, all of which are due to expire soon, in conjunction with their TV deals.​

Never though of the TV deals and talent contracts lining up being a reason for negotiations being so late.
