Ricky Starks comments on AEW absense, plans going forward, more

What I don't get about this... is Effy a booker/owner/whatever? Or is he just a performer like everyone else?

If Effy's comments about Shad (which were 100% stupid) were the reason Starks was pulled, then will Ricky be banned from working all independent dates that Effy is also booked on or is it just GCW? It would have to be all of them if he's the reason for this.

Also the idea of tacking on that option year and then sitting the guy out for the entirety of it doesn't sit great. If you're gonna have someone on the roster they shouldn't be sitting on ice the whole time (doesn't matter what company does this).

That's fair. I know Ricky has said that he's not injured and hasn't been for a long time.

And I know Brett was speaking a bit about GCW. I'm just surprised they'd allow him to be on GCW to begin with then pull it. The Effy thing must have been the straw that broke the camels back for TK (and again can't blame him).

Unrelated, but Josh Barnett is pretty much the great unifier of professional wrestling, isn't he. Dude gets AEW, TNA, and WWE guys on his shows.

Like for example, were the Effy comments about Shad not before the show Ricky ever appeared on? If that's so then logically the only thing I can think of that fits is Tony didn't know about them until yesterday, maybe he heard Effy was shit and just didn't know specifics idk there's certainly plausible scenarios but most of them I've seen presented online so far just don't seem that likely for any of the three parties concerned here so far

GCW told Fightful before they even tweeted it themselves according to the report since they're the once sources, good chance that was talent talking to Fightful tho. Maybe even they're annoyed with Effy tbh
