Just let Ric be Ric at this point lmao. The man will be a wrestler until the day he dies and I’m not even mad at that tbh :lol

08 is especially hilarious bc Cena being the fucker that he is cashed in his title shot at No Way Out in February instead and Randy Orton being the fucker he is punched the referee in the face to get DQd :lol
It was also hilarious that Orton retained at Wrestlemania but then Triple H won the title a month later at Backlash. You may as well just had him win at Mania to make the crowd happy at that point.

Also if you could cash the title shot in whenever you want it just becomes money in the bank at that point with a shorter time frame :lol

The match that killed anything Bam Bam had going for him
At least Bam Bam made a fucking fortune on that match, IIRC $125k payoff for it.

Honestly, I will disagree with this. Not cause I think Bam Bam shouldn't have had more. I think that was Bam Bam's ceiling in WWE at that point. Vince was looking for his next Hogan, at that point in time and Bam Bam definitely doesn't fit that mold to say the least. Bam Bam should have been booked harder, hell I don't even think Bam Bam sniffed any IC contendership and that was when the IC belt was actually booked decently strong.

Hmm yeah I think I agree too, I think Bam Bam's momentum was already killed prior sadly. I think he was so severely misused the entire first half of the 1990s after how fucking awesome his late 80s stuff was

Bam Bam could have been a top name in the WWF but the way he was used in 93-94 fucked him over big time, losing in feuds to people like Doink (not Borne), Men on a Mission, and having to be lumped in with the Million Dollar Corporation but not booked like their monster heel really did him no favors, which sucks because you put Bam Bam in the ring with guys like Shawn, Razor, Bret, and 1-2-3, and he generally put on great matches. He was easily a top-10 worker in 1993-1995 for WWF but his booking was just utter shit.

Yeah Bam Bam is one of the biggest misfires in WWE history imo. Could’ve been a big star but they dubbed him for whatever reason. And he worked in an era that most people consider WOAT too.

Nah... "let the old man just yell his shit" isn't the way to go. Especially if said old man has a following that eats up everything he says. Of course, you won't change him anymore, but as long as lots of people take his bullshit for the only right answer, you have to counter it. Every single time.

Heard he was drunk during his HoF speech.
Wouldn't be surprising. It wasn't great.

He does know that half of the rumble didn't get a chance to main event WM when they won them right? Ask Jim Duggan, himself in 92, HBK in 95, Austin in 97, Vince in 99, John Cena in 2008, Del Rio in 2011, Sheamus in 2012 and the rest so on.

That sounds really low for a Wrestlemania main event, even for the timeframe.
