WWE News: Ric Flair quits WWE, both sides trying to work things out
By Wade Keller, Torch editor

Ric Flair quit WWE this week over frustration with his push and a lack of any encouraging communication from the front office.

There are now discussions to try to talk him into cooling off and agreeing to not quit.

His situation doesn't appear to be at all related to the suspensions, although he's now more valuable with some names being gone for a month.

If things don't work out, it's not beyond the realm of possibility that Flair could be offered a sweet and tempting deal to be part of TNA's two hour launch.

Dude...this is pissing me off...if TNA gets Flair...then TNA will go down the toilet and there's no way that Flair will have a decent match with anyone (aka Angle, Jarrett, Sting)

Shocking to say the least, I think he might come back though, hard to believe he'd leave like this. If he did go to TNA several new final match possibilities come to mind, but we'll see what happens.

Well, by saying he quit, he's basically demanding for a release. The wwe doesnt want him to go. I would assume they could work something out. I thought the reason he hasnt been on tv, was because they were thinking of a bigger storyline to lead up for his last match, which i think they will figure something out.

I know ric flair has always had financial problems, which is one reason why he has wrestled so late in his career.

I guess stay tuned, is all this means.

1) Wade Keller is the biggest liar on the interent
2) If this is true, which I doubt, as said he would be asking for a release that the WWE certainly does not have the grant.
3) Even if the WWE does grant him a release they would be sure to protect there investment. Remember there is a reason why Kurt Angle & Christian didn't show up in TNA the very next day after leaving WWE. Same as why Sabu still hasn't shown up either. Non Compete Conditions are usually added to releases, Flair would no doubt have to agree to one if he was released, but I would assume the WWE would more likely try to keep under contract somehow even if it was some sort of office position.

^Actually, Christian DID basically show up the next day. He had already made a deal with TNA before he even left WWE. He showed up at Genesis about 2 days later.....lol

Wade Keller is the biggest liar on the internet.

If this is true, which I doubt, he should stay at least til WM24. Come On Ric!
He wrestled in NWA, WCW, WWF/E then to end all that in his first match in this new company seems stupid.
