Please please please don't let him be carried through another storyline off the fact he was good friends with someone with some talent who died.
I really don't have a problem with Mysterio being left of the Mania card. As said, unless he's going to come out and challenge JBL for the IC title then whatever.
All I know is that he needs to be moved off RAW because since coming there he's done a whole lot of nothing. I was never the biggest Rey fan but I don't completely hate him. He can pull of some decent matches when it comes down to it, but he really needs to right person to carry him through the program. I think this whole thing with Jericho is honestly going to turn out to be a waste of time and it would have been so much more beneficial to re-ignite the old Rey/Jericho feud.

Rey hasn't had a good match since his feud with Matt Hardy back in 2003-2004. Those matches were carried by Hardy anyways. I hated him as WHC, they have used EG is way to many of Reys feuds and storylines. Eddie was good, but I do not think that if he would not have died in the manner taht he did he would not have gotten so much attention (most death at least) that he did, sure he was being booked to win the WHC but I am sure that if he was still alive he would be in a similar situation that Rey is in.
Do not take that in the wrong way I was a huge Guerrero fan ever since 1998. But I never liked it when they would bring in the deceased to further a feud. Eddie and Reys feud before he died was one of my favorites of the last 5 or 6 years. Pretty sure his first PPV appearance against Kurt Angle was absolutely awesome.
While I don't rate Rey much now, the hate bandwagon is rather ridculous. Fact is he can put on an at least decent match. Sure he's not what he used to be, but he's not crap.

A lot of you guys are idiots. Rey really has been shitting it up on Raw lately due to his injury run, but whenever he gets a chance to wrestle more than 2 minute squashes with Mike Knox, he's phenomenal (vs Punk, the EC, vs Edge @ RR/NWO 08).
To say he can't put on a half decent match to save his life is pure ignorance.

Rey may not be anywhere near the best character, but Rey can put on a good match when it's necessary. I know everyone's cited quite a few matches, but I don't think anyone mentioned Rey vs. Sabu @ One Night Stand 2. That match was awesome, albeit short.

Rey can have good matches with the right people. Most of his matches with Eddie, Angle and Matt Hardy were good. Summer Slam 2002 and Wrestlemania 19 were 2 of his best WWE matchs.

I'm still having trouble in thinking about jbl vs kozlov at WM25. I'm guessing Rey vs kozlov vs jbl at Wm25 for ic title. I say this cause Rey has not got a match up yet so there my guess. He will either get involved after the tag match on raw and help hbk or taker or next week he will beat jbl in a non title match and kozlov gets involved.

Granted, yes, he's not as fast, or I suppose "good" as he used to be, but I'll be damned if he still can't pull out an awesome match when needed. WHC Championship Elimination Chamber anyone? Imo, he was the MVP of that chamber with all the spots he pulled off. Infact, he won me back as a fan with his performance in that match. All the other Rey matches people have mentioned here were great too.
I'm pretty bummed about Rey not being in MITB this year. After that Chamber, he was my main candidate to win it.

IMO i made really valid points on how rey shows WWEs shocking decline in crusierwieght divisoin. In my video i was very fair and unbiased.
And all i got was abuse from stupid 12 year olds. Some time i got emails like "Fuc u reys the best reestler in the wurlld!
