Revolution [AEW] - March Event #1 Results

We are back again in what is now the third month in the WPC Grand Prix 2021. And a brand new month means a brand new cup - the March Cup to be exact. And I can now reveal the prize that field will be competing for...

Now the March Cup is going to potentially see the first CMLL, ROH and NWA events be featured as part of the WPC Grand Prix 2021. Updates on this will be updated as we progress. We also see the WPC Grand Prix Event Championship officially introduced this month. Below is the championship belt as well as the reminder of the rules surrounding the belt.

- everyone is eligible to win the belt - irrespective of how many times they have taken part in the WPC
- if more than two people are tied tied in 1st place - the belt is vacated
- the challenger has the advantage part one - if two predictor are tied for 1st, the champion loses the tie
-the challenger has the advantage part two - if two predictor are tied for 1st (and the champion is not present in the tie) - then the lowest ranked predictor wins the tie

We can now focus on the result from Revolution - which I personally feel was one of the best pay per view I have since the fall of WCW. Leaving my personal opinion's aside however, I can announce that the dark match that took part in the buy in was voided from the result because of the change in participants meaning that only eight match were counted. We did have joint winner for the event with both JeffValleyDriver and Chris tying at 7-1. This does unfortunately mean that we were unable to crown our inaugural champion - so that honour is still something that is yet to achieved. Adapting and Pat sit just behind with 6-2, whilst a majority of the field claimed a 5-3 finish. Smark went 4-4, whilst LadyHotRod and Juice seem to have started March very much like they finished February sitting at the bottom of the rankings.
