Insomniac Games has announced not one, but two games at Gamescom. Resistance 3 is described as the company's "Worst. Secret. Ever." The Burbank studio is working on the "cruel and brutal" PS3-exclusive sequel. Based on the logo, it appears that the Chimera are taking the fight to NYC. (Aliens seem to love the place!)

Fuck yes. I've been waiting two years for this after the cliffhanger ending from 2. Resistance Fall of Man got me into multiplayer gaming and it had an amazing campaign, one of the best from a first person shooter. Resistance 2 had great changes, far superior gameplay/online, an addicting co-op mode but the campaign is just decent. The campaign from FOM is much better. Regardless, they're aware of the issues and I trust this will be an excellent game and a top exclusive for the PS3.
