The Wrestling Observer is reporting that the match taped for this week's Impact broadcast featuring Beer Money, Inc vs Petey Williams and Eric Young will not be the last of its kind. The bout is a "Loser Leaves Town" match, which will of course see Petey Williams leave the company as he has been released from TNA. This match will most likely happen again in the future with Beer Money when TNA releases talent and needs a storyline angle to write them off TV. The company feels Beer Money is a good heel group to use in the "Loser Leaves Town" match as it both writes the leaving talent off TV and also gains more heat for the tag team.

It'll get old after awhile cause you'll know anytime that Beer Money is in a Loser leaves match, they're going to win.

It doesn't even make sense. Since when Loser Leaves Town means you're fired from the company? It insults our intelligence, as it only means that when TNA goes to another town, those people could be there.

...What? Was that meant to be a joke?

No.

If you lose a Loser Leaves Town Match, it means you just have to leave the town (I am not sure about this, but sometimes it also means you can't come back), but in any point, from a kayfabe aspect of things, it means that the wrestler is fired.

Well not for all PPV's

I mean heck Petey should come to Macon Friday. I mean heck that is not in the town he loses in.

But yeah TNA should have had that been an your fired match. Also when people lose them they always end up coming back anyway.

I think its a good idea imo.

I fail to see why then book the matches as Loser Leaves Town Match instead of a plain old You're Fired Match, because again, yes, Petey Williams wouldn't be able to appear on Orlando, but on any house shows or PPVs outside then he could technically appear.

I think town is more of a metaphor for a company in this one CM...lol...

I'm pretty sure it's used as a metaphor. Loser Leaves Town. More than likely, TNA is the town they are referring too. You lose, you leave town (TNA). That's like WWE calling a street fight match a street fight, but they don't really fight in the street.

Edit: damnit, posted at the same time. noumenon beat me too it.
