WWE let go Eli Drake, EC3 and Drew McIntyre, only to bring them back after they went somewhere else.

Don't think WWE texted any of them to call them average though and since that quote came from Cage today, I don't think he wants to go there.

Well that just proves my point about this company not being able to book properly. If a guy like Cage is average after all the good matches he had in Lucha Underground and AAA, why did this company push Cena, Reigns or Goldberg for years?

I mean tbf I think Reigns is better in the ring than Cage personally. I'm not a big fan of cage lol

Second of all Brian Cage cant talk. He would not thrive in WWE at all n vince would hate his style for a big guy (see Keith Lee). List has no idea wtf he's talking about

Yet they push guys like Omos, Lashley, Veer... Give a powerhouse that isn't great at promos a shorter mouthpiece and they're good to go.
Also LU being edited doesn't matter when the moves are performed beautifully. Cage can catch a guy in midair to turn it into a suplex AND do a Lionsault. I'd say he's better than most powerhouses that are pushed these days.

There’s nothing special about Brian Cage outside of the fact that he’s a big guy

I mean tbf he can do insane stuff that others his size can't. But I do mostly agree with this. I much prefer Roman, Keith Lee, Hobbs, Archer for example to Cage

Indeed. N my point stands about wwe too, they dont want short big guys who do flips.

Yeah, but I think Brock is exempt from testing. Lashley, having a legit MMA background, could have got the same clause Brock got is his contract.

Brian Cage is very athletic for a guy his size. Ill always give him that and it has rightfully so gotten him far in wrestling. He sucks in every other category though. He can't talk, isn't overly tall and doesn't have the presence like others do.

Cages abilities in the ring doesn't always translate to overall success though. Not at a time when a lot of wrestlers focus on doing crazy wrestling moves and wrestling ability. We are spoiled with a lot of wrestling now. It would help to have more than that from a wrestler. WWE maybe would push Brian Cage, who knows. Ricochet is currently the IC Champ and his main strength is what he can do in the ring. AEW is simply a different place that is bloated with in-ring talent.
