Yeah he commented recently that he was pretty shocked WWE/AEW hadn't reached out. That sounds egotistical but he was pretty humble about it, seemed like he was genuinely surprised and wondering what else he needed to do. The Copeland match in AEW was like a success in all facets so I'm a little shocked there too but he did get injured not long after so that could have played a part.

The Indy God gimmick not translating is fair to an extent but I've been a fan of Cardona enough to know that's not his persona, that's an adaptation he made bc he's good at figuring those out and I'm pretty sure he could do it again.

I think if WWE signed him and used him well he'd be a great midcarder, possibly an upper that can challenge champs but I don't think he'd ever get there but he'd never need to
