TNA World Heavyweight ChampionWhat does a Baron Corbin look like in AEW, TNA, NJPW etc I really do wonder
Happy Corbin would be over as fuck in JapanTNA World Heavyweight Champion
And since he wasn’t released, he’d be free to show up immediately
When his contract ends which is assumed at the end of the year. And since he wasn’t released, he’d be free to show up immediately
That’s exactly what I was saying.Unless I'm misunderstanding, their contracts aren't over yet, they were just given notice that they wouldn't be renewed so it's not a release with a no compete but they still aren't free to go anywhere, they're still employed by WWE until whatever the date is.
NXT talent has been done the same way this year, told 30 days before their contracts would have ended instead of being fired and given the 30 day no compete
That’s exactly what I was saying.
His contract is expiring. He wasn’t released

Oh…Yes but what I'm saying is he still has a wait. It may not be exactly 90 days but he can't show up on Dynamite Wednesday or probably anytime before the end of the year or longer. If they give notice, it's essentially still a non compete, it's just better bc it's not out of nowhere, but he still won't be able to appear for another company for around the same amount of time, he just won't be used on WWE TV.
The NXT guys have historically had a 30 day non-compete and they now get 30 day notices instead. Again, miles better bc it's not at random times, you now know to just be nervous when your contact is coming due and not before a quarterly financial report
