- Ticket sales for WrestleMania 31 have picked up since the Roman Reigns vs. Brock Lesnar main event was made official after Fastlane. Comped tickets are well down from 2014 and the pace of ticket sales is said to be slightly ahead of WrestleMania XXX at this time.

From the Observer....take it with a grain.

If that's the case, it looks like WWE did the smart thing in sticking to their guns, this coupled with the whole #CancelWWENetwork hubbub, maybe the IWC should take a chill pill now and realize they ain't changing shit maybe? just MAYBE?

Yeah but in the past Mania would already sold out by now. Which ever way you slice the cake Pro Wrestling's decline goes on.

I too think they were right to stick to their guns. It was the logical thing to do, and this way we get to see if Reigns really has what it takes.

Read it, it says the ticket sales are coming faster than last year.....Reigns moving units faster than Bryan....WWE was right in the long run....it's right there.

In the past. the WWE didn't always go with outdoor stadiums. Now they're going with football stadiums, most of which have much larger seating capacity than before, more luxury boxes as well. Wrestling goes through cycles of popularity. But if they're doing better than last year, then they're not doing bad at all.

I worried a bit myself when Reign's run was interrupted by that layoff due to the emergency hernia surgery.

I don't have to read it because I never disbeleaved you. My point had nothing to do that. Mania is always a popluar show. We'll see post-Mania what Reigns can do. That'll be the real test.

Bryan is not useless, so there's nothing to "pls accepy". Dude's a solid hand that can help put on some nice matches. I can't ever recall proclaiming him the next Cena, so I don't know where that's coming from. The guy had his chance and he blew it.

The Super Dome holds 70,000 people. The place looked to close to full, no idea if it was sold out. With this year's sales outpacing last year's, that's not bad. Why is that such a threat to your campaign against the vanilla midgets? Bryan had almost a year of solid build up going into last year's Wrestlemania, as did Orton. While Brock is built up into a monster this year, he's still a part timer and going up against a guy with a ton of potential, but still very green and was out a couple months, which could have hurt his momentum a bit.

So yeah, not bad considering this one didn't have the emotional build up of last year's main event.
