Reigns has emergency surgery

NASHVILLE, Tenn. — WWE.com has learned Roman Reigns has been rushed to a Nashville, Tenn., hospital to undergo emergency surgery for an incarcerated hernia. Reigns had been in Nashville to promote tomorrow's Night of Champions event. His recovery time will be evaluated by the local surgeon and WWE physician Dr. Chris Amann following today's operation. Check back with WWE.com for updates on Reigns' condition

Damn, Hernias can be pretty serious depending on where they are located. And incarcerated hernias are mostly common in the abdomen area. He could be out for a while if unlucky.

The OSWreview posted an expected recovery time for a surgery like this: he should be back in 6 weeks, but it's not recommended to participate in athletic activity for 3 months due to risking the stitches coming undone, undoing the entire surgery.
