Red Dead Redemption 2 Thread

I just finished the Hamish missions and man They hit harder this playthrough. Going slower this chapter might actually be worse I've decided bc you notice everything deteriorating so much more, there's just no way to make this shit happy

So anyway to make matters even sadder I've fatefully decided to make Buell my main horse even though I know what that means must happen

I was actually taking Buell to the stables where I was just going to leave him there when I decided to leave my Arabian instead lol I'm an emotional wreck

These inbred Murfree brood fucks are so bad I'd team up with the O'Driscolls to take them out

Kind of weird to think, if John, Sadie, and Charles was never hellbent on revenge on Micah then Red Dead I wouldn't have ever happen per say

Lol so I was heading back to Beaver Hollow from the Native reservation after doing some of those Chapter 6 missions and it took me past Hamish's house (RIP) and I stopped and did some fishing and some hunting there. At one point I killed a deer (3 stars btw) and before going to skin it I picked some plants that were near me and then I ran towards the deer and a FUCKING BEAR was already there about to start eating it I panicked ngl but thankfully I also scared the bear so it just ran away. I tried to kill it too but it actually slipped past me so that bear survived another day. Deer was still in tact though, still 3 stars.

Yeah 1, 2 or 3 stars. 3 stars are the only ones that drop perfect pelts and you still have to get a clean kill with the right weapon

Hunting in this game never bothered except for the fact that in order to get a perfect pelt from songbirds and such, and snakes that you have to use a "small game arrow" which is dumb as hell since if you know anything about hunting...you aren't out here trying to shoot Ducks and all with a bow and arrow.

I think the varmint rifle works for most things the game says to use small game arrows for, not sure about the really small bird tho, it probably wrecks them

Yeah and if you ahve the legendary buck trinket it helps, but still the concpet of it to me usinga bow for small animals is dumb

Speaking of that, I was so confused why I was getting good pelts from animals in poor conditions bc I'd blasted them with a shotgun before I remembered that trinket gave you a chance of the pelt being a grade higher or whatever it is exactly

Man I just got to the cutscene where Arthur asks Sadie to make sure John and family make it out okay and he goes "me and you, we're more ghosts than people" and...damn

This shit hurts man I don't wanna do anymore missions I wanna go back to chapter 3

I just won $8.25 in one hand of poker in Valentine and had 2 people bust going all in
