I actually never said that being popular meant they were good. I was trying to say that they are popular in the sense of them being influential to a number of bands (basically, they are a 'popular influence') but failed on my wording because I was rushing to fuck off but Melvins in particular are big influences to many bands.


Slipknot is popular and they are gay as fuck so I know popularity doesn't = good.
