Rebellion just got even better.
I basically had the same realisation as you did. Just randomly watched it on a whim one night with Chris and Sky and quickly came to love what they were doing with the product. I don't think you could have picked a better time to get in to it, as Rebellion might end up being one of their best shows this year. Certainly looks that way on paper. Especially if they crown Josh Alexander as well (which they should!). Really happy you've been able to get back in to it. I thought it'd be up your alley for sure with Jay White and the BC being regulars now. I got to credit Jay a lot, seeing him on the roster made things a lot easier.Honestly, I can’t believe how much Impact has gotten better. Honor No More, Bullet Club, Jonathan Gresham, Moose with a lengthy title reign, VBD, Good Brothers, Influence, IInspiration, Josh Alexander’s quest to get his title back from Moose, Deonna Purrazzo multi belts, Taya’s return, Briscoes possibly, monthly supercards.
And those supercards are basically PPVs too. They’re all on Fite now so Impact got monthly PPV and the cards themselves have gotten better since 2020 when they were basically house show cards and their deal with NJPW has so many others able to come in like FinJuice.
This is my own opinion, but i could see impact being mb test run for warner to peepI was gonna say that might be why they lost the GCW belts again so soon but then I doubt Impact would have had an issue with them doing both since they have plenty do it so probably unrelated lmao unless they're about to be super exclusive which would kinda suck, I like seeing the Briscoes everywhere
Thinking about the tag teams they have now... VBD, Good Brothers, MCMG, Swann/Mack, Heath/Rhino, BeyJay, OGK, Austin/Fulton, Raj Singh/Shera, Decay, Swinger/Zicky. They could absolutely fill an 8-team gauntlet using their own roster but some of those are already tied up in matches so I could see them fitting the Briscoes inOh shit, yes please.
