I don't think anyone hates Batista like they hate HHH or Steph. They are forced into hating Batista because he is going to be shoved down their throat.

The best line of action for anti-Batista fans at WWE events is to just ignore him. When Batista is out, pull out your phone to text or have a casual chat with other fans in attendance. Just pay him no mind.

Steve Austin had a theory that if Daniel Bryan had gotten a chance to compete in the Rumble (and maybe have been eliminated by Reigns or someone other than Batista), then the backlash would not have been directed so harshly at Batista
