WWE loves to go after the bands that are topping the charts that the kids love, and when that theme was around, so was Linkin Park, P.O.D., the heyday of Korn, Limp Bizkit, etc. With the current watered-down stuff in the rock scene, there's nothing that brings intensity and excitement like those bands did.
That's not a shot at GnR, Ozzy, or any of those other bands from the past that still do what they do, just the current "craze".
