that's what happens after records are broken? It gets extended....like how Nikki Bella got another year after breaking AJ Lee's record.
At least Nikki Bella ACTUALLY beat her record. New Day have held on to these belts far longer than they needed to break a record that'll still say Demolition on the WWE website.
They're probably losing the belts on Sunday or Monday

Like Demolition deserved the record more than New Day did.
It's their title lineage, they can pretend it all goes back to the WWWF days if they wanted.
Wcw and TNA were doing that with the nwa title.
Even if they didn't, Demolition keeps their record. It'll always say Demolition

They could, but they don't. They choose to only keep the 2002 belt lineage. The original belt ends in 2010.
I thought it was dumb in 2010 to retire the original belt and it makes even less sense now.
You're startin' to sound a lot like Santatooth with these facts. They don't mean anything, New Day at the end of the day has made WWE way more money for their tag team division than Demolition ever did.
Actually I'm the one who supplies the facts and Santa doesn't. I'm not arguing about New Day or Demolition who deserves it more. The fact is not even WWE actually believe New Day broke their record. I don't foresee WWE going onto their website tomorrow and merging the 1979 and 2002 belts back together for it to say New Day has the record for longest running tag team champions. That was what tonight was all about. Them breaking that record held by Demolition over the belts retired in 2010.
This is why I wanted New Day to lose. So this whole thing would be over.
So if they lose tonight or in a few weeks what's the difference
