The Fist Fight is so confusing, it hurts. I've seen promotions use "Tape Fist" matches, which allows closed fists. I don't mind that stipulation, but it looks like it's going to be a mess with multiple people. They should save it for a personal feud. Al Snow says it best, don't use punches if you can't see the effects. Swelling, blood, bruises, etc. Fans know what MMA is, and a casual fan can spot the "fakeness" of wrestling a mile away. If you add realisim, a casual fan'll go "oh shit, this isn't that bad", if they're looking for realism.
Baby faces should use forearms, and heels should punch if it's their gimmick. The "open hand punch" is the weakest excuse I've ever heard. As mentioned before, Seth's punches are weak. He punches like a dinosaur instead of reeling back all the way.
Training in wrestling makes me hate wrestling at times like this.
