Yeah that's a lie, WWE was looking hard at Japan especially NJPW when they wanted Styles to sign with them when he was white hot after leaving Impact:jones:

We can only hope Owen gets in one day.

Yeah, WWE treats its Hall as The Wrestling Hall, although they mostly look at WCW and WCW accolades since they own them and I guess consider them retroactive WWE careers.
