I wonder why divas segments are so unbearable on RAW but are enjoyable on NXT?

but apparently he changed my charter password. *bangs head against wall*. Well I had to move the TV back to the livingroom eventually.

I didn't change the charter password... it's been the same since we moved in.

That diva's segment though... *shakes head*

Awful writing, Awful booking, And Flat out awful mic skills from both divas. Not to mention the brother comment, just disgusting.

lol I can't believe people are hating on the Divas segment as bad as they are.

The segment was fine to me. Charlotte was a little cringe-worthy, their cat fight afterwards was pathetic, but Paige at the very least was firing on all cylinders when it came to her mic work. Her delivery was awesome and about all you could ask for.

For sure. It's amazing to hear how this one line has just dominated anything and everything related to wrestling and everyone has their fires and pitchforks ready... Hey, remember when we used to want the Attitude Era back? About that...

Seriously though, however people may feel about this is mostly justified. Good/bad/whatever, but I actually liked what they were trying to go for here. The first part was really odd, because even following them up from NXT and so forth I just had zero idea what they were talking about. "We were in the same tryout! You changed! What made you so bitter!?" and Paige quipping back, but it was hard to know exactly what they were saying... Guess the writers really felt like they had to make up for all the time they wasted with all these dumb ass Hashtag Divas Revolution promos and Paige skipping with AJ and how they never established anything at all for them besides "oh no the group of people forced to team together by Stephanie is falling apart, how could they!!!?" and "Ric Flair's daughter wooooooo"

With the second part... The real story of Charlotte starting her wrestling career because of Reid - this didn't connect whatsoever because of Charlotte's failed fake crying and awful delivery, but still - she took up wrestling after Reid passed because she wanted to live out his dream that he couldn't??... that's a great freaking story. That's a babyface character. That's something that has legs. And if the final line was used to really drive that point home, great!

Of course, it's 2015 so Paige got zero heat for this and it was completely ineffective despite everyone being up in arms. "Oh my goodness how could WWE write this!" "How on earth could Vince be so heartless as to script something like this!" "They couldn't even consult the family? What a horrible thing to have Paige say on national television!" All the heat went on the company, and nobody cares about Charlotte vs Paige.

You know, I'm really starting to wonder what the point of promos even are. This is on the more of a WWE problem since, lets face it, 95+% of promos say a bunch of nothing (see Reigns's promo from earlier...), but if what people say doesn't matter or doesn't get them heat, why bother?

(Speaking of such, I demand to see JBL arguing with a fishtank on Raw. If you can give Seth his statue, the Authority can grant this too, right??? :yay: )

I suppose if they keep going in this direction, with Paige showing up every week to be this loose cannon of sorts, then that could actually get this to work. Hell, if you're going to beat the drum for women's wrestling, go all the way with this. Have Paige go too far at least 5 times by Wrestlemania. Get some real heat and get some people fired up about something, yeah!
