Great kickoff to the show with the tribute to Warrior, really moving stuff.

Thought it was a good move in adding the tournament to crown the #1 Contender to the IC Title. Such a better build to the eventual title shot instead of just throwing a guy in there for the shot after beating the champ in a non-title match. Really solid lineup of guys too.

Foxxy is still seriously underrated, her signature spots for a Diva are just so damn good. Speaking of so damn good, Paige's submission is rather awesome.

I'm still interested in the Lana & Rusev combination even though it's just squash matches. His 'not a single fuck was given' face when he applies the camel clutch is just awesome too.

Was intrigued to see if that Sandow promo was going to anywhere when he kept saying he deserved it but as soon as Big Show came out you could telegraph what was going to happen.

Wyatt/Cena promo was pretty damn good once Cena left the jokes alone. The line about him getting a push though

Can we seriously end this horrible Emma & Santino partnership and in turn end the horrible feud with Fandango??

Steph's promo on Kane was pretty awesome too. Would be cool if he didn't fully revert back to the masked Kane and played both roles kinda like Abyss/Park did.

EVOLUTION Great beatdown and can't wait for for more altercations with The Shield in the coming weeks before hopefully leading to sick ass 6man at Extreme Rules.

 

[Gimmick]

Pretty good show this week. Thought they did a good job developing the main storyline(s) without Bryan on the show. Was good to see them have Orton and Batista slowly side with Triple H as the show went on, instead of throwing them together straight away. Liked the beat down at the end as well.

Thought the first week of the tournament was good as well. I really doubt it'll do much for the IC title once its done, but at least we're getting some fun matches out of it.

Quote of the week was definitely from Lawler. "It's like 3 thugs... beating up 3 guys... after 11 men have already done the damage." Can't get that level of insight anywhere else, folks.
