@Shadow, Seth Rollins came to the ring to criticize Roman Reigns for being suspended for violating the wellness policy. He demanded that Reigns be taken out of the Battleground match and that he get to go one on one with Ambrose. Dean then came to the ring and accused Rollins of just being angry that he had the belt. AJ Styles then came to the ring and at first demanded Roman be removed from the match and he added in. When this didn't go over well, Styles then asked for a fatal fourway. Then, however, John Cena came to the ring and said he deserved a match and asked for it to be made a fatal five way. Stephanie McMahon then came to the ring and made several matches. The first being John Cena vs Seth Rollins, the second being Dean Ambrose vs AJ Styles. She added the stipulation that if Cena or Styles won, they would be added to the Battleground main event.

@Prince Bálor, They were on a good path during Wrestlemania but then just went downhill
