Hmmm I have to disagree with you there. They're not going to pass that opportunity up

and WarMachine, my point wasn't that he will want Rollins, it's that he isn't going to care about anyone else... singular focus

Actually now that I think about it... that whole outburst at the beginning of RAW tonight could be the signal that he's dropping the title at MITB. He said he doesn't need the Authority anymore.. so if J&J aren't there, Kane doesn't back him up then it will truly be 1on1 in a ladder match against Ambrose.. I can't see Seth winning without interference.

Seth without a title means he loses importance to Lesnar... but a dude bragging about dominating Cena and then saying something to the effect of him being the only person to ever do so could grab Lesnar's attention.

Maybe, but I don't think that interview was anything more than their attempt to add another facet to an Ambrose vs Rollins match since there have been so many so far

You're giving the creative team way too much credit there

He undoubtedly will retain the belt and he might actually do it without help simply because they might feel they need to give him a clean win since he hasn't been having one

Doing that against Ambrose, who loses so much anyway, gives Rollins a solid win against someone who will not be hurt any worse by the loss than he already has been

It's not a great idea, but they've done it more times than I can count

Don't get me wrong, your scenario would likely be better, I just don't have that much faith in them to do the better scenario

Well not only that but WWE has very odd requirements for the writers they hire
