Raw GM?

This isnt a "Who do you want as GM" thread again... But, we saw Regal fired a few weeks ago, and we were told in the news, and by hints on wwe.com, that they would name a new Raw GM... That hasnt happened... Instead, it seems they are just ignoring it.
Now, the reason is probably because with Vinnie-Mac on tv all the time, theres really no need to have a GM right now. Other than a role that Coach used to play, it'd be pointless to have a GM, when Vince is there to overule anything anyway...
But still, with all the other brands having a GM, and Vince not being here forever, I think they should've named a GM anyway... And kept Vince on onl occasions, like once a show to do the million dollar giveaway thing...

-When regal returns, and the mcmahon thing is over, do you think Regal should be GM again?
-(Only if you answered yes above) If regal did return as GM, how would you write him back in, considering he was fired?

Yes, they should've named a new GM weeks ago and I think Vince McMahon will make himself one.

No, Regal should never be GM again. He was the worst GM EVER and he made the same Main Event every single week.

You do know he didnt actually make the matches right? Hes not actually in charge, the writers write the matches, he just acts on screen.

Yeah well in other words...I was tired of hearing his voice.
But yeah he was a bad GM imo.
Vince would be a pretty good GM or at least better than Regal.

i think regal should definitely become gm again when he gets back... hes probably gonna fight with vince for control of raw or something...

yes, i mean he was a really good GM, he had really good heat from the crowds and i was just starting to get used to him.

even though i said yes he should be a gm, i dont think he is going to be one, looks like they dont want him to be a gm if they had to fire him.

Hopefully Regal will be given something of a singles push, although I fear that he may have been heading for the stars, but he won't now This has been the most infuriating thing in wrestling this year imo

So, what WAS bad about him (other than his voice, which I assume irritated you because it wasn't a good ol' red white and blue striped Americana accent)?

I'd love to see Regal back in the GM role.... He was great... Good heat, subtle fllashes of humour.. AND he could go in the ring when necessary which I think is a great quality for a GM considering the storyline probabability of the GM getting caught up in a fued.

I think now Teddy is over on ECW that Regal will get the GM roll back (easily written back in (VKM gives him second chance subject to some kind of stipulation that hangs over Regals's head from week to week), whether or not his singles push is resumed so readily when he returns, that I'm not so sure of.....

I think they'd have filled the roll by now if they were gonna get someone new. This million $ biz is just a welcome reason not to have to explain away the absence of a GM since VKM is on-screen a a fair bit.

No, because I want Regal to come back as GM. And you have to remember that Eric Bischoff was fired as GM in December 2005, and a new GM was not until Regal won a battle royal on a Raw in September 2007. WWE never seem to worry about these things.

Yes. Regal had awesome heat and played the role really well. My favourite GM for awhile now.

Have him come back attacking Kennedy, then McMahon comes out and says he will be giving Regal a second chance .... if he can beat kennedy. Regal wins a match against Kennedy by cheating, becomes GM, and keeps a feud going.
