what do you think would be the reaction if Roman retained?
He’s a heel but people still love him. So it’s not like he’s gonna get boo’d out of the building like he did in 2017.
If he retains, the ones still get thrown up at the end of the show. But it’s the wrong choice.
The Bloodline story started wit Jey. It should end with Jey. Cody winning the belt is a part of the Roman/Jey story.
Tbh I think there’s a big chance that will happen lol. I absolutely love Roman but even I think we probably need a new champion at this point. But now that the Bloodline story is wrapping up, it’s probably time for Roman to drop the belt and move on to something else. Still wouldn’t surprise me though if they swerve us and he retains. I think people would be quite pissed lol

I think Alvarez actually put it best about Mania. If they're planning on going ahead with The Uso's vs. KO & Sami at WrestleMania then they need to translate the heat onto the uso's, so you have Jey fuck over Sami at Elimination Chamber. How they go about explaining why he did it would be another thing though.
