Hogan and Flair came from generations when people had title reigns that last YEARS! That doesn't happen anymore.

A more relevant comparison would be Austin and Rock and they shared the belt between each other and guys like Triple H, Mankind, Undertaker and Kane all had turns. The idea that only one performer gets to carry the ball kills the division and tells everyone that no one else in that division matters.
