WWE Raw Preview: Nov. 6, 2017: “Miz TV” kicks off Raw with special guest Kurt Angle in Manchester, England
With just under two weeks until Survivor Series, Monday Night Raw heads across the pond to Manchester, England. Amidst the bedlam surrounding the battle for brand supremacy, Raw General Manager Kurt Angle will kick off the latest episode of the red brand as a guest on “Miz TV,” and Jason Jordan will battle Elias in a Guitar-on-a-Pole Match. Plus, should Team Red be prepared for another SmackDown raid tonight?
“Miz TV” kicks off Raw in Manchester with special guest Kurt Angle
In the wake of #UnderSiege, irate Raw Commissioner Stephanie McMahon returned to Raw last week to demand that Kurt Angle captain the Team Raw Men’s 5-on-5 Traditional Survivor Series Elimination Team. In response, the WWE Hall of Famer wasted no time showing his resolve by recruiting the dominant Braun Strowman as his first pick.
Meanwhile, SmackDown Commissioner Shane McMahon has announced that he will SmackDown’s Team Captain – with Randy Orton, Shinsuke Nakamura and Bobby Roode ready to back him. But who will Angle select to fill the remaining spots to represent Team Red in the crucial showdown for brand supremacy? Can his Monster Among Men possibly work together with whomever he selects?
In addition, controversy has been running wild ever since SmackDown General Manager Daniel Bryan was attacked by his former Team Hell No tag team partner Kane on last week’s Raw. Shane McMahon has labeled the incident a “setup” and said that there would be “hell to pay.” Did The Big Red Machine act alone? Or did Kurt Angle have a hand in the attack as payback for SmackDown bringing Raw under siege?
Raw crosses the pond to Manchester England this Monday, where the action will kick off with a must-see edition of “Miz TV” featuring GM Kurt Angle as the special guest. Will The Olympic Gold Medalist quell the controversy and answer all concerns? Or will the A-List host simply pour gasoline on an already towering inferno?
Can Alicia Fox find Superstars to be on her Traditional Survivor Series Team?
After winning the right to be the captain of the Raw Women’s Survivor Series Tag Team Match, Alicia Fox chose Nia Jax as her first team member last week.
Considering her recent tantrums, erratic backstage attacks and just plain weird behavior, though, the question remains: Is Alicia cut out to be captain? And will she be able to get top-level Superstars to join her and Nia to take on Team SmackDown?
Will Raw’s titleholders still be standing tall for the Champion vs. Champion Match at Survivor Series?
Last week, both Miz and Alexa Bliss were forced to defend their titles, even though they are scheduled to face SmackDown’s champions at Survivor Series. In addition, the WWE Universe found out on Thursday that WWE Champion Jinder Mahal will put his title on the line against AJ Styles this Tuesday on SmackDown LIVE.
Translation: No titleholder’s championship reign is secure between now and Sunday, Nov. 19. But who, if anyone, will fall from their place of glory?
WWE.com has already revealed that Cesaro & Sheamus captured the Raw Tag Team Titles at Raw in the U.K. As for the fate of Team Red’s other titleholders, you’ll have to tune in tonight.
