Michaels beat Vader, Mankind, Davey Boy and Owen Hart and held it for like 7 months. Austin beat Michaels, Taker, Dude Love and he rarely lost the belt in a clean situation while being a face.

Not the same case in non title matches though, streaks are not what I have an issue with, its with how the matches are done. Michaels would show pain and all that, same goes for Austin but Cena, Hogan (and Reigns nowadays) basically takes something and gets up and like "sup buddy?" but oh well each to their own.

That's how 90% of 'distractions' in WWE works, really stupid to see it still being used nowadays. "Oh my god the light went out, I must obviously break the hold and look out at the ramp, leaving me completely exposed, because SCIENCE!"
