Stewart has been mainstream since the 00 election.

What viewpoint were you disagreeing with? You made the nonsensical comment.

Fine, this isn't really worth debating. My point was a political satireist is the last person you expect to see appear on a wrestling show. He maybe mainstream but not in the way you mean. I could be totally wrong, but I think most people would find it at least a bit suprising that he appeared on raw this week. It maybe as simple as him being a wrestling fan.

deezy I'm pretty sure other people besides conseratives appear on Fox News.

I'll give you a pass since you aren't American but Fox News is honestly so horrible that it's amazing Stewart appeared on it.

John Stewart was fucking awesome on Raw. He was used exactly the way any celebrity who isn't a badass should be used. He was booked to look much weaker than the wrestlers, he was involved in an ongoing storyline of actual relevance and used his television charisma to cut a good promo. Good stuff.

The complete opposite outcome of the horrible Florida Georgia Line spot where they bitched out Sandow. When a scrawny celebrity physically overpowers a wrestler it makes everyone look dumb, but the way they booked Stewart was great stuff.

Sounds interesting. Guess this could be a new pregressive WWE we are looking at. Credit to him for doing it. Will check it out at some point.

Nah, WWE will always use celebrities in awful segments nine times out of ten but sometimes they get it right. For every Mike Tyson or (imo) Drew Carey there are tons of other bad examples that do nothing but get WWE in the press for a minute. It helps a lot if the celebrity can talk well, too.

I hope the Wiz Khalifa segment goes well but I don't know much about him. Maybe he knows wrestling but can he cut a live promo? And will WWE have him intimidate Seth Rollins because he's, you know, black a gangster rapper?
